kpl1 Posted May 5 #1 Posted May 5 Last week I bought these winter pants because I want to make a Battle of the Bulge Tanker display. I noticed that they contain zippers from 3 different manufacturers; is this common? In your opinion, is this otherwise an original piece? Thanks to my son, who was kind enough to put the pants on for the photos :-)
1ryguy89 Posted May 5 #2 Posted May 5 I think they look good. Could've had the zippers replaced at some point.
Rhscott Posted May 6 #3 Posted May 6 Just curious but where has the winter armor crew combat uniform ever had “M1938” as part of the description? The armor forces did not even start development of this set until 1940 with it being finalized in early 1942.
eagle mtn Posted May 6 #4 Posted May 6 They look good to me. I wouldn’t worry about the different brands of zippers. Its not unheard of, I’m pretty sure one of my jump jackets has conmar amd talon zippers

kpl1 Posted May 6 Author #6 Posted May 6 Ok, thank you all. I will post a picture wenn I have made the display. Now only searching for a Mannequin with the right pose.
