M1M1 Posted April 8 #1 Posted April 8 I’d welcome any and all options on this liner as to its originality
eagle mtn Posted April 8 #3 Posted April 8 Looks like a post WWII liner from when the 101st was just an infantry division and not an airborne division
atb Posted April 8 #4 Posted April 8 It's post-WW2 from the time the 101st was a Training Division. The same thing happened to the 17th Airborne Division. They wore the SSI of the 17th without the "AIRBORNE" tab.
patches Posted April 9 #5 Posted April 9 Another Cadre Liner, there were different styles worn then to learn more on the 101 of this period, just GOOGLE 101st Training Division usmilitaria forum, and a bunch of topics will show. A Somewhat worse for wear liner of the 101st Training Division 42nd Tank Battalion, at this time the 42nd Tank Battalion is a Tank unit in name only, here it is a Cadre strength training unit with no tanks or combat mission,
