Hello !  I'm not new to collecting militaria and started in 1971.  I've been a silent member of the forum for a long time.  Its great to see the tremendous knowledge displayed here and the openness to help anyone.

 

My collections contain predominantly cloth insignia from wartime.  I call this "bullets flying" insignia. I prefer used, theater-made pieces that have "the look".

• WWII:  Airborne (ovals & pocket patches), FSSF, Ranger Battalions, and Merrill's Marauders & MARS Task Force.
• Korea:  Ranger Companies, and 187th Airborne, plus a few UNPFK/UNPIK.
• Special Forces - from the start in 1952 up to GWOT
• Vietnam:

                USSF, SOG, LRRP/Rangers, Seals, Marine Recon; Army & USAF Aviation Support (AF generally limited to SOG/Fac/TASS)

                I also like some specialty Combat patches:  Sniper, Tunnel Rats, Combat Tracker, Photographer, 

• Post 1975 SF:  3/7th Panama

I have a few uniforms, flight suits, a good variety of berets, and boonie hats.  I have picked up some flags, banners & pennants.  I also have a small collection of associated knives.  I have supported a few key publications with insignia from my collection.
