WWII VC-41 Squadron patch variation? Yes

Hello, I recently bought a grouping on the bay that included this patch with it. I talked with the seller and he claimed it was on a cloth like material, but it does not have the same design as the official VC-41. One things as well on a few of the pictures shown, CASU 65 is mentioned. Any help is appreciated!

Yes ,that is a variation of the Squadron,

Thank you very much for the confirmation! Where did you find this image if I can ask? In all my searches I could not find an example online.

I got it from a disc of all sorts of Naval aviation WW2 emblems that was sent to me by a man who was with the Tailhook association .
