Managing your collection - Valor Registry which I built

I hope this is allowed...not meant as a promotion, but a genuine tool to help collectors.

 

Valor Registry grew out of my own needs to properly catalog and organize my medal collection in a digital format. I built this free website and welcome anyone to use it.  Some of the highlights in terms of functionality includes:

 

Create service member cards and associated medals to that service member.

Organize service members into units and hierarchies

Search across your entire collection

By default, your collection cannot be seen by others. If you opt in, you can make your collection discoverable.  This allows others to view your collection and initiate contact with you.  They do not know who you are until you approve the contact.  This is meant as a way for folks to re-unite broken groups.

 

The only information required to sign up is a name and email address.  I do not collect anything else (and you can make up a name if you wanted to).

Thanks, quick question. Once data is compiled can my personnel records be downloaded/Saved and viewed on my personnel computer ?

You have to be connected to the internet and use your browser.  This is because everything is stored in a database on a server.  Thus, you can log in from anywhere to include a mobile phone browser and work on your collection.

 

I do have plans to build out an excel export function in case someone wants to leave the platform and take their data with them.
