Anyone have any input on this USA made knife that looks a good bit like it's English cousin?

Sheath obviously not original (made by me).

Bottom knife is USA made.

Since I posted this query,  I have been searching on the internet and reading threads here. Seems like this is an old unanswered question. So, I have found the Royal Brand diamond trademark with no country of origin, England, Japan, Germany and U.S.A..

Other Royal Brand markings on pocket knifes, table cutlery, carving sets, steels and of course fighting knives. Nobody has come across an old advertisement or box.

Several mentioning Utica and made in New York, cica 1940-1950  by appearance of similar a manufacturing style. Imperial is also mentioned, 1920-1940 for the same observation. But no hard evidence yet.

I think knife makers just liked the name or there was a market for that trademark so maybe many knife makers co-oped it.

  Still searching.
