I image searched this patch and the only link I got that was the same design just said itwas an unknown US patch. I've definitely seen one nefore, but which unit is it supposed to be?

I had one of these years ago and I believe it is an ROTC patch. Pretty sure it was from a college in California. Can't remember for sure but maybe the University of San Francisco?

Yes, it's the University of San Francisco - old style. They've upgraded to the 'Dons Battalion'.
