mjerickson Posted April 27, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2009 Hey all, Im by no means an expert or for that matter a biginning collctor of EGAs. This right off my grandfathers (WWI Marine) American Legion piss cutter. I dont know if its from the period or something he put on later. Its the size of the one that would go on the Visor cap and a screw back with a flat round disk under it. There are NO markings what-so-ever on the back. OK so much for that the pics I took are too big to attach here if anyone would allow me to e mail them to them and can tell me more about it it would be greatly apprecated. thanks Mike
Schnicklfritz Posted April 28, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2009 This is a harder to find 1920's regulation Meyer variation of the EGA. Looks good!
teufelhunde.ret Posted April 28, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 28, 2009 Agree - the reverse should have a hallmark like one of these. s/f Darrell
Brig Posted September 9, 2011 Share #4 Posted September 9, 2011 Picked up this nice little piece in the large collection I bought earlier this week...nice 'Meyers' and 'Acid Test' marked, something you don't see commonly on EGAs and something I thought more circa-WWII. Emblem is a bit worn and still has some residue from the polish in the details on the front
