I recently bought this 1944 IBM Corp. M 1 Carbine from Royal Tiger Imports. I thought I’d share it with the forum. The receiver and barrel with no date are both marked IBM. The stock is a type 3 wartime replacement without the pot belly based on the markings with a type 2 wide barrel band. The sights are stamped type 3. This was part of a lot imported from Ethiopia. If anyone wants to weigh in on it your opinion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your Carbine.  I've never seen a carbine I didn't like and yours in no exception.  The finish is well worn but it still has a great look.  Let us know how it shoots.

Will do DD. The action seems really smooth so I’m anxious to see how that translates to how it shoots.

That's a very nice carbine.  Especially from Royal Tiger.  I might need to consider getting one from them

The trigger group is milled and not stamped so it’s clear it’s not original to the rifle. I’m thinking that it was made by Winchester. IBM M 1 Carbines had a stamped trigger group. It’s not surprising to find that in an arsenal rebuild. They don’t call them mix masters for nothing.
