US Army 86 Posted February 17 #1 Posted February 17 I’ve been a member here for a couple of years now, and over the past year or so I’ve started selling some items from my collection here rather than listing them on eBay or other platforms. My interest began during my six years in the National Guard, when I started collecting pistol belts and helmets. Over nearly 40 years of collecting, primarily WWII through Vietnam, that expanded to include field gear, bayonets, medals, and other personal items. Many pieces were originally purchased through established Army-Navy surplus stores and private sales over the years. I don’t claim to be an expert; as most know, gear and equipment varied throughout the wars and between different theaters, such as CBI and the European campaigns, and later conflicts from Vietnam to Afghanistan. I’m currently thinning out parts of my collection (while keeping a few favorites), and I’m making every effort to price items fairly and realistically. I aim to be fair and straightforward, and I’m always open to reasonable offers. If you have a question about pricing, I’m happy to discuss it.
