I have shared these and some of the related info with a couple of forum members who have been most helpful and for that I thank them. I thought I would post them here as I know we have several members who enjoy sea service uniforms and apparently Coast Guard Warrants are somewhat scarce.

I know very little about the man who wore them. His name was Robert Ellis Stephen and he lived in Cheboygan Michigan, which may also be where he was stationed at some point though I can't say for certain. He had service in WWII and Korea according to his headstone but where and for how long I do not know. I have contacted Geoff at Golden Arrow for some research so hopefully I can learn a bit more.

So, for now, here are the jackets of Mister Stephen. Both have beautiful bullion shields and rates, and the CW2 has an odd feature where there are three more blocks or pips on the reverse of the cuff as shown in the pics. He was deceased well before the CW5 rank was established and his headstone has him as a retired CW4. Any thoughts or input is welcome and appreciated. In addition to these I also have his Summer tan uniform though it has no insignia, not even the revenue shield, just USCG buttons and his name in it.     Scott

Very nice, always good to see USCG warrant stuff. That stripe is very interesting. Is is all one piece? I wonder if it was made that way so the same stripe could be repositioned and used after promotion. The rank in the first image is CWO-3 and the second is CWO-4.

Yes all one piece and yes, about an hour after I posted I realized that I read the rank wrong...He retired as a CWO-4. Thanks!  Scott
