Training Certificate-November Company, GTMO

Attached is a base-designed and printed certificate, attesting to successful completion of infantry training required to be a member of “November Company” at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base. It would be signed by the U.S. Navy November Company Commander and the USMC GDF Colonel. I got ahold of a few of these down there in 1988 at a yard sale.

 

This certificate would be given to a U.S. Navy sailor assigned to the base who completed training by the U.S. Marine Corps Ground Defense Force-GTMO. “November Company” was the second line of ground defense in the event of an attack.
