Rare Gentex-Made CVC-Chemical Defense Helmet

Another oddity from my collection, an experimental Gentex-made Combat Vehicle Crewman’s Chemical Defense helmet (CVC-CD). I also included some pages from the CVC-CD helmet ensemble’s manual. Purportedly ten were produced for testing in the early 1980s. Unfortunately this example does not include the protective mask, but it’s still nice.
