devincu Posted February 3 #1 Posted February 3 Hello all, It’s been awhile since I’ve been on the forum due to moving and illness, but it’s good to be back. This is set of dog tags that were a family members during WWII. He was a Hump Pilot in the CBI theater and as far as our family knows was not in the service after the war. I used to have a very good Dog Tag reference book, but I don’t ever remember seeing a red colored tag listed. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Allan H. Posted February 4 #5 Posted February 4 Your red dog tag was issued by the state of Wisconsin to people who worked in various industries as a secondary means of identification if the owner was injured or killed on the job. It is similar to a military tag, but is strictly civilian. I believe Michigan may have issued them too. Allan
