Last month I was scrolling through a thread on here regarding REFORGER, and @gwb123 posted a bunch of pictures from an old recruiting booklet. It piqued my interest a little, so I tried to see if it was available as a PDF anywhere but to no avail. There was a copy up for sale on ebay for 12 bucks, though, so I ended up snatching that. (In hindsight, I probably could've just asked gwb, but what's the fun in that?). Here's a link to gwb's comment, he has about 90% of the images in there.

I was lucky enough to serve there from 1980 to 1983.  Certain parts of Germany were almost like an American colony back then, as there were 300,000 of us over there with dependents.

 

I had a close friend who got stuck on a mountain road waiting for the sheep to pass, just like on the cover.  You could not make these stories up.
