Quest Master Posted January 20 #1 Posted January 20 I bought a collection of old gun parts, and in there are 7/8" rings for the M82 and M84 Scope, 7/8" rings for the M82 Scope, and 3/4" rings for the M73B1 scope. All are new-old-stock parkerized. I am looking for a price estimate on what they are worth, I can only see reproductions for sale and these are originals. I will likely only keep one set for a sniper build and sell the other two.
Charlie Flick Posted April 14 #4 Posted April 14 I have not seen any recent sales but my guesstimate on the value of the Redfield rings for the M73B1 scope for the M1903A4 rifle would be in the $350-400 range. They are very hard to find and essential for anyone trying to bring an A4 rifle back to life. The DCM used to sell the A4 rifles without scopes, mounts or rings (I think the CMP did so as well) so there are rifles out there than need the rings, mounts and scopes. I can't help on the 7/8ths rings. Hope that helps you. Regards, Charlie
doyler Posted April 14 #5 Posted April 14 An 03a4 I picked up a few years ago. Figure it was a DCM release at some point. Paid 600 for it at a show when that was "the going rate" Came with nice BOYT 44 dated sling as well. Really cant help with value as most I know are going the repo route for the rifle matches. In many cases its what someone will pay in todays market.
doyler Posted April 14 #6 Posted April 14 This is another interesting use of the early M82 scope and rings and its mentioned in a manual as well I was told.
