rathbonemuseum.com Posted January 20 #1 Posted January 20 Thanks to Todd Anderson (not sure what his Forum handle is) who posted these images on a FB wings page. Wanted to share them here as well. We've all seen them from time to time. Humorous versions of wings with office chairs for those who's flying days have now turned into "management". What I appreciated about the post is the card with the three ratings. Never seen that before. And the wing with the engraving that confirms the holder as a member of the US Army Chair Corps. Puntastic.
bschwartz Posted January 20 #2 Posted January 20 Glad you posted this, Tod. I saw it on Facebook as well and updated my website accordingly as it incorrectly referred to these wings as "Chairborne" wings. Nice to have some documentation and get the correct name on my site. I have one of these in my personal collection that matches this one from Cliff's collection. The thing is incredibly detailed and the chair actually swivels. It's an amazing piece of work for a novelty wing.
