Erik Ledbetter who was a member of this forum worked as a Park Ranger and died suddenly in July 2025 while at work aged 59.  He was deeply interested in militaria and the clothing worn by the pre-war CCC corps in particular, and initiated a fantastic website about the CCC Corps, a link added to the post he started below in 2019

 

 

 

Erik bought a 1935 red check CCC jacket that I sold at auction in 2019 and added photos to the additional posts showing him wearing the jacket once he received it.  Please try to read his post and the website he started dedicated to the CCC Corps, it's heavily filled with original photographs of CCC members and uniforms.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was deeply saddened to receive news of his death.
