Retired Army Noncom Posted January 14 #1 Posted January 14 I have a quartermaster issued well used Forage cap. I want to use it as an Indian Scout cap. I'm not authenticator nor do I know one, I have this one I plan to put on the cap: Maybe it is or maybe not but.....will it suffice until I find a good looking lady authenticator that I can take out for lunch and get her opinions??? Doesn't mater whether she's married or not!!! ;) Know any??????? Strictly business ya know!!!!
KurtA Posted January 14 #2 Posted January 14 ALL of these USS Crossed Arrows pins are 1960’s era Bannerman repros. But, there’s no getting an original, so these are the best you can do for a display. And they do look good.

I have so many campaign hats now I've two in the closet, no place for anymore. Besides, just a USS went on a Campaign hat. I'm almost broke, need to start up a Go Fund Me acct!!!
