Hi all

I have a passion form military history and  have spent several years researching family members who have served.

Living in the UK I have experience of the resourced available for UK personal and have over 300 relatives who served in WW1

I have discover a couple of relieved who's families moved across the pond in the 1870's and there offspring  were in the AEF

I have no experience in researching an American WW1 service man so any tips very much appreciated.

The man  I am researching atm  was in the Company C,  2nd Provisional Ordnance Depot Battalion so any tips on that very much appreciated.

Looking forward to learning lots and helping preserve the memories of those who served.

Thanks in advance

James.

Greetings from Mass. I am also new to the site but hope to learn a lot from it and to meet some good people.  I good friend of mine was here for a month visiting, he returned to London a week or so ago. He is retired and lives in Berlin but stays in Londo a lot. I hope to visit him in September. I have been to England 6 times in the past, unfortunately I was not really into military collecting like I am now. I did manage to pick up a Zulu spear in an antique store. I also have a nice collection of British Police helmets and plates. A nice tunic and bearskin as well. However, the best part of it is the friendships I have made with folks from your side of the pond.
