RemiFX Posted December 30, 2025 #1 Posted December 30, 2025 Hello, I have a familiy member who served as an MP in the Netherlands UN Detachment which was part of the 2nd US Infantry Division. He was awarded a Wharang, presumably for support he gave to a local orphanage. As this family member has died in the 1980's without having siblings information about his tour of duty has been lost. I have come in contact with a veterans association but so far I have had no luck. I'm trying to figure out if there is some sort of formal declaration for having this medal. Or that the korean government has a database which can help find anything about the reason for giving this medal. Is anyone around here able to help me? Regards, Remi
