DFC WWII & Korea Air Force Grouping

Hey all,

 

I picked up this great Air Force grouping yesterday which belonged to a WWII and Korea veteran who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Included in the group were his Father’s Navy medals and insignia from WWII. My research hasn’t brought up much information but this group belonged to Captain Arthur J Salkin. I believe he was a Combat Camera/PAO. There were three photo albums which contains photos from his many travels in WWII and Korea. Thanks for viewing and if anyone could help me find what unit he was in I would greatly appreciate it!
