WWII Coast Guard grouping to a Philippine National.

One of my favorites groupings in my collection named to SD1 Eusebio Bucasas (218-261). He immigrated to the US from the Philippines in 1938 and was granted citizenship in 1940 out fo Juneau, Alaska. He served the entirety of the war on board the USS Joseph T Dickman as a troop transport ship which was part of all major landings in Europe and a sometime in the Pacific. Worth noting is the USS Dickman was actually an ocean liner named the SS President Roosevelt before being requisitioned for wartime use.
