Darrell S. Posted December 12, 2025 #1 Posted December 12, 2025 Hi, I am new here. Looking for help identifying a U.S. Army Ring. I believe it either belonged to my grandfather, a WWI Veteran. Or my wife's grandfather, a WWII Veteran. Or possibly neither. No dates or engravings. Mainly what I have other than the ring is letters and photos from both World Wars. And a 1903 Army issue Springfield 30-06, according to my Dad. The rifle I learned to hunt with. If any experts here can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Darrell
aznation Posted December 12, 2025 #2 Posted December 12, 2025 Definitely looks like a newer type ring to me, most likely made by Jostens.
268th C.A. Posted December 12, 2025 #3 Posted December 12, 2025 Check the birthstone chart and then see who was born that month, I do believe this is a lot newer and maybe just picked up somewhere by a family member. Good Luck!
Darrell S. Posted December 12, 2025 Author #4 Posted December 12, 2025 Thank you both! I thought it looked newer as well. Just have no idea where it came from.
