Squale69 Posted December 7, 2025 #1 Posted December 7, 2025 Hello, Someone to help me getting information on this USN M426-A flying suit owner ? Thanks. P.A
blitz67 Posted December 7, 2025 #2 Posted December 7, 2025 There is a Air Force General named William H. Ginn, but this is Navy????
blitz67 Posted December 7, 2025 #3 Posted December 7, 2025 Weird Commander abbreviation, should be CDR, para-loft guys were probably hung over
Squale69 Posted December 8, 2025 Author #4 Posted December 8, 2025 Do you think it could belong to LTG William Henry Ginn Jr ? Could be the flight suit from his early days in the Air Force in 1948 ?
pbuchh7715 Posted December 9, 2025 #5 Posted December 9, 2025 There is a William H. Ginn in the 1970 US Navy and Marine Corps registry showing him as retired in 1959 as RADM but with highest rank held as CAPT. Try Service number 2719733 but there are a few William H. Ginn's out there.
Squale69 Posted December 9, 2025 Author #6 Posted December 9, 2025 Thanks ! I found a Lt. Cdr. W. H. Ginn (USNR), CASU(F) No. 17, in a "United States Pacific Fleet Organization - 1 May 1945" document on the net... that could be the one I am looking for ! In fact, upon closer inspection of the name and rank label, it clearly states LT COMDR... but LT is almost erased.
