For those of you that follow post-CW Cavalry Regts, most all have illustrious histories, their wars, engagements, campaigns, during the Indian Wars, SAW, PI Insurrection, Punitive Expedition and into WWI &II. Which would you choose to be the top Regiment? I say it's the 6th Cavalry Regt.

How far post Civil War can we go here?   I'm for the 11th Armored Cav - Vietnam and Fulda Gap.

Yes, I remember you were on the Fulda Gap. I was with the 2/75 FA in C Battery. We were the battery that was suppose to get on the east side of  the Fulda before you guys blew the bridge if Ivan ever started some shite.

 

As for this thread, I'd say from 1865-1918.
