Howdy all!

I am friends with a ton of folks on this site.  I started collecting WW2 USAAF, then started collecting early jet era, which naturally progressed into Korea and then Vietnam era.  Vietnam collecting sucked me into the Special Forces rabbit hole.  SF took me into modern GWOT history, which has been my focus for the last few years.  My collecting office is cluttered, but it will eventually get into a legit space.  I know the history of about 90% of the stuff in the office.

Cheers!

That Desert Tiger Stripe Pakol might be one of the coolest things I've seen in a while! There are too many interesting items in each frame; what an amazing collection.

That came from a CIA buddy who started the CTPTs (Counterterrorism Pursuit Team) in Afghan.  He had 4-5 made.  I have quite a few items from him.

Well, we all know Arch has the best GWOT collection! lol.  I am fortunate to have lots of great Vet friends and get a lot from them and other serious collectors.  I focus on adding the rarest stuff I can to the collection.

You must have all kinds of contacts to have acquired all of that amazing stuff.

That's pretty awesome. Is it a tube construction that is rolled up like a normal pakol?

Of the 4800 FB friends I have, I’d bet 4600 are combat Vets and of the 4600, probably 4000 are from the SOF community.  I’m also on the board of directors of a SEAL organization.

Here is a pic of Rob Oneill hanging out in the office. lol

Those boots are a class of their own, awesome collection. I wouldnt know where to look first, just the way I like modern stuff. Love the YPG pennants, I have a one myself burried away somewhere.

Ok.  That would explain your collection.    Did you score one of Rob's uniforms?

Not yet. I do have a few cool things associated to him though.

lol! It’s a lot of stuff.  I try to display as much as possible. I typically spend my weekends in the office getting drunk and staring at stuff. Lol

Thanks, Wade!

GWOT history is awesome because it’s very well documented and the history is still so fresh.

And now is the time to collect! With it being so recent, a lot of stuff is readily available. People are so focused on getting the old gear that they overlook the new gear!
