Unknown Goggles

Anyone recognize these goggles? 
 

Not sure if they are aviation related or U.S or foreign.

What is the length of the nose strap? Resembles horse or dog gas goggles, if interested I might be interested in purchasing them as I collect Cavalry items. BTW if they are what I think they are not US they are German

They are indeed German, a part of the Pferdgasmaske 41 horse gasmask set up. I had some given to me by my great uncle years ago, I guess he picked them up around the time of Operation Husky, as a few pictures on the flak landing craft show him without them then a few shorty after hanging around his neck further in land. No idea how common it was, just a chance find that was useful to modify for personal use.
