4th Air Force

I recently got an M-65 jacket from a buddy, and on the left breast pocket was a Fourth Air Force patch, but it looks a little different from most examples I have seen. 

 

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but any help is appreciated!

If you mean the whole patch is different from what is used now, it was changed in the 1990s this is the older one. If you mean the red 4 it looks like someone embroidered over the subdued 4 to make it stand out more.

Patch looks Asian made. As such, things such as colors could be off from what was official.
