HGU-64 pickup

Paid $122for this on Ebay It's mostly complete but I did install the boom mic mount that was missing but I won't install the boom mic till I get the ramshorns and the visor knobs put on. It's a size regular and I do have a form fit Inter Helmet liner for this. Helmet is squadron named to the SeaHawks but I did have to replace the Neutral visor as the tab on the visor that went into the track was missing so now it works now.

Got the Ramshorn's installed the visor knobs I'll change out later when I get some white ones from Gibson Barnes. Turns out this helmet was named to someone named Amos and the Squadron is HSL-41/HSM-41 Seahawks.

Got the boom mic assembly and the Inter helmet liner installed all that needs to be put on will be the ear seals onto the earcups then assembly will be complete. When I buy some more 6-32 nickle plated screws I'll switch out the black ones.

Are you able to determine what was spelled out from the tape that was removed from below the “ Seahawks” tape??

It says AMOS.

Okay thanks, I was wondering if it was “AMCM” which would have been an HM-16 helmet.  
 

I think it’s possibly a HSL-41 helmet. Very nice.

It is HSL-41 Seahawks. They are HSM-41 now.
