JonM Posted November 4, 2025 #1 Posted November 4, 2025 Greetings everyone, My name is Jon and I joined this forum after I ran a search for USAAF and early USAF uniforms. I grew up next to a SAC base turned AMC/USAFR base which influenced my interested in military aviation and military uniforms. I remember spending time at the local base museum looking at the planes and uniforms on display as well as borrowing books from the base library which had numerous photos of the base history. I would eventually end up spending 20 years in the Air force Reserve after I graduated from high school, retiring in 2023. In addition to USAAF and Air Force uniforms, I also collect WWII Japanese Navy uniforms and misc items. There's definitely a lot of great information in these forums and I hope to learn more from the people here.
