I'm hoping through this forum to obtain the flight jacket my father wore in WWII, and which he sold to a collector (possibly Pete Malone?) in the early 1970s when we were living in Long Beach, California.  My father was a flight engineer in the Army Air Corps, served in both the European and Pacific theaters, and in a photo that I found recently (below) I was reminded of his flight jacket that with the bomber (an A-26?) painted on the back that hung in the coat closet, which I really wanted.  But I failed to tell him, so when I was in high school he sold it to a collector.  Below is the only photo I've seen of him wearing the jacket, and am hoping the patch on the left breast side along with my description of when and where he sold it might help lead me to it.  Yes, I assume I'll need to buy it from whoever has it now.

I hope you get lucky and find your Dad's flight leather jacket. In 2000 I bought a new Clqassic Heritage Classic Harley Davidson. To go with the looks of the Harley purchased a replica WW2 leather bomber jacket. A lot of Harley dealers carry it,Made by LESC0 lEATHER .

I knew Pete Malone back in those days, and he passed away many years ago.
