Welcome! I look forward to seeing the progress of your plane seats! That's a unique area of interest.

Welcome to USMF!  There are a couple of people here who have done seat restorations on F-106 seats so you should be able to follow in their footsteps on a few things.

Ejection seats are fun projects but can be very frustrating finding all the little parts. I have two seats I completed years ago, an Air Force F-4 and Navy A-6 seat. My main area of collecting is aircrew survival equipment, and I have seat kits from both an F-101 and 106. The kits are the same with a few modifications over the years, so I can probably help you with any questions on those. (First, I should ask, which 106 seat are you restoring? B-seat, zero-zero, or an earlier one?)

I look forward to seeing pictures of your seats and the progress on the restorations!!!
