themick Posted October 29, 2025 #1 Posted October 29, 2025 As of late several folks have posted their .45 cal. holster modifications. Here's one more: It belonged to a Marine who was wounded on Iwo Jima on Feb. 26, 1945. The WWII Marine who gave it to me years ago knew several Marines who were on that invasion. He told me one of them gave him the holster and told him it came from a Marine who was killed on the island. I finally got around to looking up the name which is tooled onto the holster as seen in the first photo. I didn't find a KIA, but found the Marine by that name who was wounded.
