CinamonToastCrunch Posted October 27, 2025 #1 Posted October 27, 2025 This particular seller has a long reputation for forging decorations. He posted some new decorations under a new name. Just making sure the medal numbers that he fakes are known. He has gone by the usernames 1bxm790, 377gks and bigp63
CinamonToastCrunch Posted October 27, 2025 Author #7 Posted October 27, 2025 He has been known to sprinkle in authentic decorations in an attempt to legitimize his fakes.
atb Posted October 27, 2025 #8 Posted October 27, 2025 Some more context, please. Besides the decorations, he adds numbers to campaign and service medals? Fake boxes and accessories? He actually manufactures these things or does he modify real examples? Please expand on what it is he does or has done. Thanks
CinamonToastCrunch Posted October 27, 2025 Author #9 Posted October 27, 2025 In the past he is known to have used mismatched parts to create medals. If you look up the usernames 377gks and bigp63 which he has used in the past, he has quite a long history. A lot of what he does is artificially ages modern planchets, reproductions and uses period brooches, ribbons to make them look authentic. There has been discussion in the past about him adding numbers to campaign, service and valor awards.
CinamonToastCrunch Posted October 27, 2025 Author #10 Posted October 27, 2025 He's also known for helmets.
