New Member intro, looking to start wing collecting

Hey all, greetings from South Carolina! Getting back into militaria collecting after a few year hiatus. Looking to hook up with guys who collect USAAF WWII wings and learn some. Great forum, glad to have found it.

hello, welcome back to collecting.  I collect a lot of everything, but I do chase WWII era wings.  I started collecting wings about 10 years ago.  There are so many variants that I would suggest a focus.  I try on chasing either foreign made wings, and maker marked pin back examples.

 

I also really like Beverlycraft.  But I have several English, Australian, and CBI wings as I find these interesting.  I also chase 8th Air Force related items.  So I like to display my wings mixed in the medals, patches, photos, pins, etc.

Thank you sir! Sounds great. I like the highly detailed feathered wings, but I don't know yet. zi also collect German WWII P38s and US military issue watches.
