QuNoobJunior Posted October 22, 2025 #1 Posted October 22, 2025 Hello everyone! I recently got myself my first SPH-4b, it has some very unique decals and other hardware which I have´nt seen on any SPH-4b before. Overall it is in good but used condition and my favorite helmet I own so far. I would also like to know what night vision system would have been used with this helmet. Name of the pilot and potentially his call sign: Back of the helmet with the writing, 2001-NEVER FORGET: Note the hole for the six point earcup retention assembly Very interesting communication plug: Snap studs at both cheeks of the helmet, presumably for some sort of oxygen mask: Unusual TP-106 plug: Inside of the helmet: Information of the helmet: Also, after I took of the visor system I saw that there were holes drilled for a single visor assembly between the top and bottom holes. I would also love to know more about this helmet´s usage and potentially the pilot, if anybody knows something. Any feedback is welcome!
Mikeym_us Posted October 23, 2025 #2 Posted October 23, 2025 I have seen the rest of that Nexus cord on Ebay recently.

AMT500E Posted October 23, 2025 #5 Posted October 23, 2025 Most of the info I've found on the net with the Amphenol/Nexus TP-108 is associated with the C-130 and MV22. I know the Army used/use it and it would be nice to have a comprehensive list of all applicable aircraft. Nice find on the SPH4B!
