Fake WW2 lighter?

I found this lighter from a veterans estate and someone is insisting that it’s a fake.

 

They claim both brass ones are fake.

Ive seen these before and had one myself, trench art. there Good 

too cude to be fake. JMO

If these were being faked, we would see them constantly pop up on FleaBay. Yours and a couple of others are the only ones I've seen. As you previously stated I think they are North African in origin. I don't think there is any money in faking these as opposed to the "Vietnam Zippo" rip-off weasels. Also JMO.

Haven't looked at them in a while but believe two have dragons and the last has the CBI shield on it....Were they made in India?....I haven't a clue, but they were in with his personal items....Bodes

Perfectly fine, I come across them regularly both in US groupings and Commonwealth. Cigarette cases from the same hands also float about too, some are pretty simple and occasionally some are rather lavish but almost all have a small cottage industry look to them. 
 

Maybe the individual that is calling them fake should have a look at the Italian POW made items that are about.

I agree with everybody else. They look good.
