What are these insignia ROTC, NG, etc?

 

I'm guessing "S.C." South Carolina NG "pin-back"

I would say most, if not all, are military school/ROTC-related. 
I wore the SC (South Carolina) insignia on my dress whites as a Citadel cadet.  Uniformed instructors/professors at The Citadel  wear them on their uniform lapels in the same manner commissioned officers would wear US insignia.

USMAPS = United States Military Academy Prep School (I believe)

SMA = Staunton Military Academy (Pretty sure)

"OU" could stand for Ohio University. Oregon University, or Oklahoma University.  However, I'm more incline to believe it is for Oklahoma University.
