If you know any history about the Border Raids and War, the movie, 'The Son' brings back some real life happenings in 1915 along the south Texas border with Mexican bandits/patriots including the famous/infamous King Ranch, the producer and or the director has taken some real incidents and made small changes to certain scenes. If you know the Texas history of South Texas and how the Anglo ranches became so large, this movie has that happening. It has two seasons with 10 episodes each. I can only speak for the first season so far.

My nephew-in-law (married to my niece), Shane Graham, was in that production.  He was the grandson - Charles McCullough.
