Came across these helmets on separate eBay listings.
Overjoyed that both are complete and in very good condition.
The one marked “Bradley Master Gunner” even came with the matching diploma.

The Bradley helmet is Kevlar from the 90’s, while the Tan has a thin hard shell, dated 80’s.

New to these CVC helmets, so any information helps.

These allowed communications between the crew and also radio use.  Thin ones came first then the need for armor lead to the heavy Kevlar ones. We had some nice Bose made ones that really cancelled out noise, which in armor is a big problem.

A good driver could and usually found a way to wire in a NP3 player to play music for everyone.

Master Gunner is a EXTREMELY demanding course held at Ft Benning Ga for Tank, Bradley’s, Strykers.  Exceptionally high course requirements makes it one of the most academic challenging courses in the Army and along with that one of the highest wash out rates.

Proud to say my son graduated with a first time (rare) go as a Bradley MG.
