Retired Army Noncom Posted August 22, 2025 #1 Posted August 22, 2025 Hat has five row stitching and slit openings for chin strap, chin strap present but broke in two places, not as wide as later chin straps, well worn hat cord and goggles are the 1920s, has Bakelite. Bakelite wasn't invented until 1920. If I ever find an all metal set, I'll switch it out.
