Honestly have never seen the bakelite buttons in the jacket size.

Here is a 101st Airborne Technical Sergeant Fourth Grade's Jacket in my collection with jacket size bakelite buttons.

Coat size are the 1 1/8" inch buttons. Jacket size are the 7/8" buttons. The coat size I've seen buckets worth. Not saying jacket size are rare. Just saying I haven't seen them.

And a greatcoat with a 101st AB patch on it is pretty sweet.

Those buttons date around1942/43, look at the great coats tag. They came in at a time when everything was in short supply. Even .50 cal ammo came in something other than a brass metal shell.
