I tried Googling this — it’s either Swedish or German, I’m not sure exactly. Maybe someone has a similar button.

I certainly may be wrong, but that "& cie" looks French or Belgian.

German backmark I think. Can't find anything so far on the naval crest but I know the British buttons have several different crowns on them so it could be for the royal yacht crew for one of the royal family of some country.

Which you already know because I found another bulletin board where you posted your button.

 

Doesn't mean the button's for a German naval group, just manufactured it.
