Here is a father and son group.

The foreign medals were in the estate but I don’t know why.

Here is an SF group.

This has an certain amount of documents, orders and other paperwork.

This soldier went into Army Intelligence and on one of his Vietnam tours he was attached to the Special Forces.

His certificate

Here is a nice real piece and named to the soldier.

I really like how he put all his insignia in they order they were received.

Looks like he was subconsciously thinking ahead of his time for future generations, it sure does make for a nice display. Some awesome patches too, I wasn't aware that a small sized USN aircrew wing existed, I guess Ill have to look out for one now too.

Thank you for your comment.

Quite often I’ve disassembled these craft type insignia projects because they sometimes look awful,

This one looks better but best of all it tells a story that could potentially get lost if taken apart.

Another interesting document from the intel officer.

And here is a page from his scrapbook.

I agree 100%. I wouldn't touch it. It accurately tells the story of this persons progression and career. It lines out prior AF service. Attendance and graduation from ROTC. Lining out early branch assignments and eventually service in Vietnam.

An amazing group to say the least. It's got everything that you would want in a grouping.

Had he made Colonel his jacket would have flown off.

A couple of Franklin Delano Roosevelts cigarettes with his initials on one of them.

These came from his cigarette box that was found in the White House by a secret service agent I used to know.

Here is a group that came from one of the first Canadians in the history of Canada to be trained as a paratrooper.

He was trained in the USA.

He never went overseas but stayed in Canada training more paratroopers.

Anyone could have bought this group as it was in plain sight.

I just saw this as well. I have not been active on the site in a year or two. This is good stuff.

BTW, last we spoke here, I thought you were "getting out of it"?

Glad you obviously didn't!

Believe me, the pleasure is mine.  I missed everyone and the forum tremendously.  I just can't believe how many items you were able to get at once.  Did you have to build an addition onto your house, lol?
