Too good to be true PH?

I found this in a box of my dad's collections 

I was wondering if it was legit.  He was an avid collector and an expert  but Dad had poor eyesight near the end. A couple fakes slipped by him.

Looks like a righteous KIA PH to me.

 

PVT Savalli was killed in action on 4/7/1945, as a member of the 121st Infantry Regiment, which was part of the 8th ID.  
 

For further research purposes, he enlisted out of Mercer County, NJ, with the ASN of 32956624.

So very sad he was only 35. My Dad did most of his collecting in central NJ so the location makes sense too.   Thank you
