nicolas75 Posted July 29, 2025 #1  Posted July 29, 2025 Hello to  It's pretty hard to have a full complete view and have the number of panels numbered as i have no room to have it fully deployed ...🥵  it's roughly 42 feets in diameter 4 large green lines and 2 thin white lines No marking just a 3, 8, 6 stamps on the edges of the chute (maybe to fold and pack it)  Can anyone let me know its model and decade ?  Thanks a lot
Bryan Stotts Posted October 18, 2025 #2  Posted October 18, 2025 Hi,  I have a similar one. With that type of weave, I was told that mine was post-WWII made in the 1950s for cargo drops. I know that these older camouflage cargo chutes were used for many years up until the 1970s, and even early 1980s. I have seen these with patches and even entire panels replaced with later green T-10 type rip-stop parachute material to extend their life cycle.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of "dealers" who like to cut these into "airborne scarves" and sell them as such to the gullible. Any way to make a buck, I guess...  I do not know the model of the 64' cargo chute off of the top of my head, but I am currently doing research on the subject of cargo and air delivery chutes and equipment and will be happy to share with you as I learn more.  Bryan.
