Had this for a couple decades. There was a engineers  patch with it when I bought it. Still have it, just don't  know where it's  hiding. Anybody know what the farm is. Thanks.20250724_121945.jpg.d2a90389dc01e532ca47f17c11fa49ec.jpg20250724_121953.jpg.bf75f9a318d68467a7925ed69191ba9a.jpg

Long shot, but that might be related to the Old Guard, maybe an unofficial tab on a jacket.  The U.S. Army Old Guard's Caisson Platoon, now known as the Provisional Caisson Detachment, provides ceremonial caisson services for military funerals at Arlington National Cemetery. The horses and soldiers of this unit are based at Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia, and receive top-notch care at the NOVA Equestrian Center (NEC) in Loudoun County VA.  I've met several of these soldiers from the Old Guard at the horse stables on Ft Myer and they discussed the training they received while spending time at "The Farm" their reference to the NEC in Loudoun County. These "horse soldiers" wear jeans and organizational tee shirts most of the time.  They also wear a jeans jacket in colder months.

I was an Army civilian employee of The Old Guard from 1992-2005. I never saw that tab. It does look older, though. How long has "The Farm" been associated with TOG?

Another possibility is the "Turtle Farm" in Korea.

Original poster says it is Vietnam Era.  86-88 is well after that.

Both of those tabs look like Vietnam theatre made insignia. Doubt it's Korea, probably from the late-1960s.

Saw one of these at the ASMIC Convention mixed in a collection of ASA patches.....perhaps a tie there to explore.

I seem to recall from my Northern Virginia days that Vint Hill Farms Station (USASA) was referred to as "The Farm". Faulty memory?
