Remember Me Posted July 24, 2025 #1 Posted July 24, 2025 Had this for a couple decades. There was a engineers patch with it when I bought it. Still have it, just don't know where it's hiding. Anybody know what the farm is. Thanks.
joeclown Posted July 25, 2025 #2 Posted July 25, 2025 the CIA had a place called the farm, Camp Peary in Virginia
RMEAV8R Posted July 25, 2025 #3 Posted July 25, 2025 Long shot, but that might be related to the Old Guard, maybe an unofficial tab on a jacket. The U.S. Army Old Guard's Caisson Platoon, now known as the Provisional Caisson Detachment, provides ceremonial caisson services for military funerals at Arlington National Cemetery. The horses and soldiers of this unit are based at Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia, and receive top-notch care at the NOVA Equestrian Center (NEC) in Loudoun County VA. I've met several of these soldiers from the Old Guard at the horse stables on Ft Myer and they discussed the training they received while spending time at "The Farm" their reference to the NEC in Loudoun County. These "horse soldiers" wear jeans and organizational tee shirts most of the time. They also wear a jeans jacket in colder months.

I never saw that tab. It does look older, though. How long has "The Farm" been associated with TOG? Another possibility is the "Turtle Farm" in Korea.
Remember Me Posted July 27, 2025 Author #6 Posted July 27, 2025 Thanks for all the thoughts on this. I found it at a car parts-a-rama. So it's origins are unknown. ocsfollowme thanks for showing another.

CinamonToastCrunch Posted July 28, 2025 #9 Posted July 28, 2025 Both of those tabs look like Vietnam theatre made insignia. Doubt it's Korea, probably from the late-1960s.
River Patrol Posted August 10, 2025 #10 Posted August 10, 2025 Saw one of these at the ASMIC Convention mixed in a collection of ASA patches.....perhaps a tie there to explore.

I seem to recall from my Northern Virginia days that Vint Hill Farms Station (USASA) was referred to as "The Farm". Faulty memory?
