Pep Posted July 13, 2025 #1 Posted July 13, 2025 Received this set. I was told it was from a flight mechanic on Chinooks. He was a sergeant. It came woodland out. Is this date considered a early one? No label on desert side. Is that typical?

Radio Operator Posted July 28, 2025 #3 Posted July 28, 2025 Great helmet! 2005 would put this as an early helmet (believe the earliest ACH not MICH would be 2004) this also looks to have the original MSA pads and black chinstrap. Later on, MSA did not use these types of pads or chinstraps and the texture paint underneath the cover would slightly change. MSA was bought out by gentex as well in the early 2010s too, or their helmet manufacturing plant was if I remember correctly.
