What plastic please ?

Hi,

I'm trying to restore the original visor of a 1966 HGU 2A/P which has a piece broken off. Can anyone tell me what type of plastic it would be made of (PLA, PET, ABS)  ? Manufacturer is Gentex

I am guessing that the dark/tinted single visor material might be polycarbonate??  I will have to take a look at some of my Gentex and Sierra literature when I have time.

The white plastic visor housing was made from a softer plastic than the later harder plastic types.  The visor tracks might have been made from teflon.
